Positive relationships with others at work are an essential part of one’s job and career. When there is a rupture in work relationships – such as those caused by a harassment investigation – “Employee-Centered Resolution” processes can be used to supportively coach employees to regain their footing after conflict.
Employee-Centered Resolution may help employees present their views, think about what they are saying, what is being said by the other, and to make their own decisions on how to understand the situation and their options. Employee Centered Resolution processes can also become an integral step in reengaging and reintegrating employees after a harassment investigation.

Conflict management coaching, also known as conflict coaching, is a specialized niche in the field of coaching and conflict management. It is a one-on-one technique, in which a trained coach assists people to effectively manage specific disputes or prevent unnecessary ones. Conflict management coaching also helps clients to strengthen their competence to more effectively engage in conflict.
This specialized coaching process has wide application in organizational, family and other contexts - for coaching people to independently manage their disputes, to more effectively engage in challenging communications, and to participate with more confidence in mediation or other ADR processes.
The outcomes of this workshop are that participants will gain:
the theory, principles and methods specific to the CINERGY® model of conflict management coaching;
an introduction to and basic working knowledge of conflict management coaching using the CINERGY® model;
an understanding of the types of skills required to provide conflict management coaching;
experience of the coaching model as a coach, ‘client’ and observer;
knowledge of the applications of this technique; and
suggested documents and information about the logistics of conflict management coaching.
This workshop was designed by Cinnie Noble, LL.B., LL.M. (ADR) who is a certified coach (PCC) and mediator (C.Med). Cinnie is a pioneer in the field of conflict management coaching and the founder of the CINERGY® model, which is taught worldwide. She is author of Conflict Management Coaching: The CINERGY™ Model and Conflict Mastery: Questions to Guide You.
