ADR is an unregulated field. For this reason, our Directory only contains ADR Professionals whose qualifications have been verified by ADRIA’s staff.
The ADR Professionals in this Directory are members of both the ADR Institute of Alberta and the ADR Institute of Canada, bound by a Code of Ethics, and subject to our complaint resolution process. 
We also have resources available on how to choose an ADR practitioner as well as explanations for our types of ADR designations.

Chartered Designation
(ex. C.Med, C.Arb, C.Med-Arb)

senior-level designation that indicates an advanced level of training and experience to practice competently and ethically in cases of moderate to high complexity.

Qualified Designation
(ex. Q.Med, Q.Arb)

entry-level designation that indicates a recognized standard of training and experience to practice competently and ethically in cases of low to moderate complexity.
