Biography
W. Donald Goodfellow Q.C. Donald Goodfellow is a member of the Law Societies of Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon and the Northwest Territories as well as being involved in cases outside those Jurisdictions. He holds a B.A Degree from Brandon University and LL.B. Degree from Dalhousie University. He was appointed a Queen’s Counsel in 1983. He has extensive experience of law relating all aspects of the Construction Industry having worked in construction prior to continuing his education. He has been a member of the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee and the recent Alberta Construction Association Committee regarding proposed amendments to the Builders’ Lien Act. Mr. Goodfellow is a Fellow and past Governor of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers and is listed in LexisNexis as one of the top five hundred lawyers in Canada. He is a Chartered Arbitrator and is President of the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society.
