Biography
Perspectives is an Edmonton based company that uses interest based non-evaluative mediation and conflict management tools to provide the opportunity to develop creative outcomes to difficult situations.
Peg Quinn holds the Qualified Mediator national designation. Her wealth of experience as a human resources professional has provided her the opportunity to use conflict resulting skills in a variety of circumstances including labor relations, grievances, and other workplace disputes. She has provided leadership in the development and implementation of Respectful Workplace policies and programs in several organizations. These programs have resulted in significant cultural shifts and have provided staff with the awareness and tools to approach conflict in a productive manner. Peg’s primary focus is workplace mediations including union environments.
In addition to her private practice, Peg is a mediator for the Community Mediation program at the Mediation and Restorative Justice Centre (MRJC) and has facilitated several Communicating in Conflict workshops for the MRJC. Peg is also a mediator for the Civil Mediation program through Alberta Justice and Solicitor General.
