Extensive experience in public and private sectors, including international and multi-party. Patient, pragmatic conflict-resolution style. Completed about 600 mediations and about 50 arbitrations (including tribunals) in recent years, involving engineering, construction, business, labor, lands and resource use, contracts, insurance and oil and gas. Active in civil courts mediation program, Environmental Appeals Board, Land Use Appeals Board, Municipal Affairs programs, consumer protection appeals and other. Appointed by Law Society of Alberta as public adjudicator for lawyer conduct files. Past president of Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society, past Board member of ADR Canada. Good track record of working with the private sector, government agencies and First Nations groups. Believe in timeliness, quality and value for money.

1995-98: Arbitrator and Mediator Certification - Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society.
Many short courses pertaining to management and technical subject areas.
