John Farmer

John has dedicated his career to be an unbiased and independent valuation consultant. To quote from an Alberta Court of Appeal decision [2018 ABCA 310], “Farmer’s accurate, absolute, certified opinion, which ought to have been accepted as the only reliable expert opinion,” speaks to the quality, consistency and impartiality of his analysis, aiming towards the highest professional standards as an appraiser.

Accepted as an expert witness in matters of real estate appraisal and valuation before the Federal Court of Canada, Alberta Court of King’s Bench, Alberta Surface Rights Board and an arbitration matter in the Northwest Territories. He has experience as sole arbitrator in commercial lease and value disputes and tribunal member in commercial arbitrations.
