Overview
I am a mediator, conflict management coach, facilitator, and trainer with a primary focus on workplace conflict resolution and skill development. I work with organizations, leaders, and individuals to strengthen conflict competence, improve communication, and address conflict in ways that support healthy working relationships and effective organizational functioning.
As a trainer, I design and deliver private, customized workplace training in communication and conflict management. My training emphasizes practical skill-building, shared language, and applied frameworks that help participants engage more productively in conflict, prevent escalation, and navigate difficult conversations with greater confidence and clarity.
As a conflict management coach, I work one-on-one with individuals – often leaders, professionals, or employees in high-conflict situations – to help them better understand their conflict patterns, clarify their goals, and develop effective strategies for engaging in challenging interpersonal dynamics at work.
As a mediator, my practice is primarily focused on workplace and organizational conflict, including disputes involving teams, small and family businesses, non-profits, boards, and business-to-business relationships. Whether working with pairs or groups, I support parties to address issues constructively, improve communication, and reach durable resolutions. I am also active on the Alberta Court of Justice (Civil Claims) mediation roster and the Alberta Municipal Affairs mediation roster.
I bring a practical, systems-oriented approach to my work, supporting organizations with a wide range of workplace conflicts, including employee-to-employee and manager-employee matters, as well as broader team and organizational dynamics. My experience also includes working with senior leaders, including C-suite and executive-level professionals, and with public-sector and government-adjacent organizations, helping clients navigate conflict in ways that are grounded, constructive, and aligned with their roles, responsibilities, and working relationships.
I believe effective communication and conflict management are essential workplace capabilities. When developed intentionally, these skills not only improve working relationships and organizational culture but also reduce the financial and human costs associated with unresolved conflict.
