This course prepares mediators to manage the financial complexities of separation and divorce mediation. Key components include understanding federal and provincial child and spousal/partner support legislation and tables, and navigating the division of property. Students will learn to address the emotional intensity and unique challenges in this area, with a focus on minimizing the impact of parental conflict on children’s wellbeing. Through practical training, participants will gain the skills to support parties in creating balanced, sustainable agreements that address parenting responsibilities and financial support.
