March 2026 Learner Session – New Ways for Families: Decision Skills for Conflict Resolution
Cost:
Free for ADRIA members only
Course Description:
Join Marne Turnbull, C. MED, for a one-hour learner session introducing the New Ways for Families – 4 Decision Skills, developed by Bill Eddy of the High Conflict Institute.
The Decision Skills classes are currently being offered several times each month in Grande Prairie as part of the Reimagining Family Justice Initiative pilot project. These four skills are being introduced as a common language to support parents experiencing separation, encouraging thoughtful decision-making that keeps the needs of children at the center.
Marne is passionate about the use of these skills as a shared framework among professionals working in conflict resolution across many fields. Training in the application of these skills is now expanding beyond family contexts and into broader professional practice.
This learner session offers a guided walkthrough of these simple yet impactful skills, and explores how they can be applied in pre-mediation, mediation, and conflict coaching settings.
