Overview

Mr. Barkauskas has been a lawyer for more than 30 years, a mediator for 25 years, and an arbitrator and parenting coordinator for more than 15 years. He is currently the Co-Chair of the Alberta Family Lawyers Association, is a past Chair of the CBA National Family Law Section, is a Past-President of the Alberta Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, and has been consulted by both the Federal and Provincial Governments on a variety of Family Law issues. He has been an instructor and speaker throughout Canada and internationally speaking about various ADR issues, and is an instructor for the National Family Law Arbitration course. He has significant experience dealing with complex financial issues and with families struggling with family violence issues.
