Biography
Marc Johnson has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Education in Policy Studies, both from the University of Alberta.
Marc has been a Chartered Mediator for over 10 years, he was part of the Alberta Provincial Civil Claims Mediation Program, where he assisted hundreds of individuals in bringing resolution to their Civil lawsuits. The subject matter of these conflicts had a wide ranged including real state, family disputes and corporate.
Marc also has over 15 years of experience in post-secondary education, where he has mediated and investigated a vast variety of educational related matters, such as student’s inappropriate behavior, disruption in the classroom, sexual violence incidents as well academic related conflicts.
His experience in post-secondary includes working as an ombudsman with the University of Alberta for 7 years and working as an Officer with the Office of Student Judicial Affairs with NorQuest College for 5 years.
Marc was recognized with a certificate of appreciation by Alberta Justice and Solicitor General for his invaluable dedication and service as a mediator in 2016.
