Biography
Jaemi is a nationally Chartered Mediator (C.Med) with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta and has been an ADR practitioner since 2013. Her purpose is to help people create peace in their lives through gaining self-awareness and understanding of those they find themselves in conflict with. Jaemi focuses her mediation practice on workplace and community disputes, and is active on the Edmonton Police mediation roster as well as Alberta Justice’s Civil Mediation roster. She is experienced with Team Optimization and Conflict Coaching in both the public and private sector.
When Jaemi is not mediating, she instructs and coaches at the University of Alberta, NAIT, and the ADR Institute of Alberta. She has designed over 100 hours of ADR curriculum.
Jaemi practices an interest-based approach to conflict management and decision making.
ADR Training & Qualifications
Jaemi is a Chartered Mediator with 250+ hours of training. She holds certificates in Conflict Leadership, Attuned Communication in Dispute Resolution, Integrative Negotiation, Facilitative Mediation, Separation and Divorce Mediation, and Practical Ethics for Working Mediators.
