Michelle Phaneuf provides knowledge and experience that help today's companies manage transformational improvement in working relationships and foster a psychologically healthy environment with engaged an productive employees. By leveraging strong facilitation and coaching skills, and a mediator's toolbox of strategies and processes, Michelle can support organizations to plan and execute programs of workplace fairness.
Dr. Nancy Love, PhD has served as an educator, a coach, a mediator, a facilitator, an intervenor, an advisor, an author and a professional
speaker. Her area of focus is leadership and conflict management in the space between people, workplace relationships and the role that language plays on the journey towards common ground. She has been working to resolve and mitigate conflict in the workplace since 2002 when she founded the PULSE Institute and most recently served as an Advisor to the Centre for Values and Ethics at the Parks Canada Agency. She has also been an associate of the University of the Virgin Islands as author and instructor in the area of conflict resolution and serves on the mediation roster for the Alberta Department of Municipal Affairs.
Nancy’s extensive experience in all kinds of workplaces gives her the perspective needed to quickly evaluate conflict situations and prescribe a course of action. She applies the principles of Appreciative Inquiry and the skills of a mediator along with a strong background with the Enneagram to create valuable restorative experiences for teams and individuals in a wide variety of workplace settings.
Blaine Donais (contributor), LL.B., LL.M., C.MED., Q.ARB, PHSA, WFA, is a lawyer, mediator, arbitrator, investigator and leading expert in workplace conflict management. He is author of Workplaces That Work (2006); Engaging Unionized Employees (2010); and The Art and Science of Workplace Mediation (2014) all published by Carswell. He is president and founder of the Workplace Fairness Institute. He is an instructor of workplace conflict management at York University and University of Toronto (Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources) and acts as Visiting Lecturer at universities around the world. He is also Academic Coordinator for the York University SCS Advanced Mediation Certificate Program. He is co-chair of the ADR Institute of Ontario Chartered Mediators Regional Assessment Committee.

*This course will be presented online. In order to participate in this format, students must to be available from 8:30 to 3:00 daily without distraction during class time. Students require a strong internet connection, computer with a webcam and microphone.
