Executive Assistant / Membership Services Coordinator
Britt (they/them) is a skilled and compassionate professional with extensive training and experience in mediation, restorative justice, consensus decision making, and workplace investigations. They hold a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Gender Studies and have developed expertise in trauma-informed practice. As the Executive Assistant and Membership Services Coordinator at the ADR Institute of Alberta (ADRIA), Britt plays a key role in advancing ADRIA’s mission to strengthen and promote alternative dispute resolution in Alberta.
Britt is deeply committed to upholding ADRIA’s core values of collaboration, leadership, uncompromising ethics, accountability, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. As the Chair of the Lunch and Learn Committee, Britt aims to support ADRIA’s goal of connecting professionals and promoting high standards in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
As a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Britt is passionate about fostering inclusivity and advocating for marginalized groups. They have facilitated impactful workshops focused on interrupting ignorance and managing conflict, creating safe and empowering spaces for dialogue and growth. Britt is currently a part of the 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce and participates in the Chamber’s 2SLGBTQI+ Inspire and Innovate Entrepreneurship Program. Through this program, Britt is connecting with other Queer entrepreneurs and professionals in Edmonton to gain support in developing their own ADR private practice.
In their “free” time, Britt is an artist and creator, channeling their passion for expression and innovation into personal endeavors.

They are deeply passionate about building a strong ADR community in Alberta, striving to connect professionals and promote ADRIA’s mission, vision, and values in every aspect of their work.
