SUMMARY:November 2025 Learner Session- From Neutral to Neural: Rewiring the Mediator Mindset
DESCRIPTION:\nCost:\n\n\n\nFree for ADRIA members only\n\n\n\nCourse Description:\n\n\n\nTraditional mediation emphasizes neutrality, yet neuroscience reveals that our brains are wired to constantly assess threat and reward—a process that challenges pure objectivity. In this interactive session, we explore how mediators can harness neuroplasticity to become more self-aware, adaptive, and authentically engaged without compromising fairness. Participants will learn how deeply conditioned responses influence their presence in the room, and how to rewire internal patterns that hinder connection, curiosity, and clarity. Using practical tools from neuroscience, we’ll challenge the myth of neutrality and offer a new framework for mediator mindset development—one that supports transparency, resilience, and reflective practice. This session includes peer-to-peer exercises, real-world scenarios, and brain-based strategies that invite mediators to grow beyond cognitive bias and reactivity, and into purposeful, neuro-informed facilitation.\n\n\n\nCourse Details:\n\n\n\nYou will receive an email with login details the morning of the session date. Contact education@adralberta.com to request details no later than 2:00pm the day of the session if you do not receive this information.\n\n\n\nYou must be a member of ADRIA and logged into your account to register.\n\n\n\n\n
