SUMMARY:Mediation Role-Play Practice Sessions- Online, November 2023
DESCRIPTION:\nWhether you are you looking for more practice in skill integration, or to prepare for a Supervised Mock Mediation for a Q.Med designation, ADRIA’s role play practice series can be tailored to your needs. Participants will be placed in groups of three or four and assigned role-plays in which they will be either the mediator, one of the parties, or in the case of groups of four, an observer. Each group will be assigned one coach to help, and are ready to give you feedback based on your goals.\n\n\n\nCourse Details:\n\n\n\nThe schedule for the three sessions will be assigned in advance and available for review on your student page. For each group, there will be two role-plays per session and over the course of the three sessions, each participant will have the opportunity to mediate at least twice. (Exact number will vary depending on the number of participants that register and some role-plays may be co-mediations.)\n\n\n\nEach group will have a coach that will provide feedback on skill integration. The coaches will not be doing skill drills or completing role-play evaluation forms. The focus of these sessions is role-play practice with verbal feedback from the coaches, so it will be important you share your goals for taking the course with your coach so they can give feedback accordingly.\n\n\n\n*This course will be presented online. In order to participate in this format, students must be available during session times without distraction. In addition, students require a strong internet connection, a computer with a webcam, and a microphone.\n\n\n\nRegistration:\n\n\n\nRegistration is only open to those that have completed mediation training.\n\n\n\nParticipants are expected to attend all three sessions.\n
