SUMMARY:CINERGY® Coaching: Virtual Conflict Management Coaching Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This Course is presented through CINERGY® Coaching. \n\nConflict management coaching, also known as conflict coaching, is a specialized niche in the field of coaching and conflict management.  It is a process in which a trained coach assists people on a one-on-one basis to effectively manage their interpersonal disputes and enhance their conflict management skills.  This technique may also be used to coach people to more confidently and effectively participate in mediation, negotiation and relational conflicts. This form of coaching may be used in any context – workplace, family, neighborhood, and so on.\n\nOutcomes of the Conflict Management Coaching Workshop:\n\nThe outcomes of this workshop are that participants will gain:\n\n 	the theory, principles and methods specific to the CINERGY® model of conflict management coaching;\n 	an introduction to and basic working knowledge of conflict management coaching using the CINERGY® model;\n 	an understanding of the types of skills required to provide conflict management coaching;\n 	experience of the coaching model as a coach, ‘client’ and observer;\n 	knowledge of the applications of this technique; and\n 	suggested documents and information about the logistics of conflict management coaching.\n\nMethods Used in the Workshop:\n\nThrough skills practices, demonstrations, self-reflection and discussion, participants develop and practice conflict management coaching techniques and skills.\n\nParticipants:\n\nThe training will be of specific interest to coaches, workplace, family and other mediators (interpersonal conflicts), HR Professionals, lawyers and others who work with people in conflict.\n\nAccreditation:\n\nThis workshop has been approved for 30 hours of Continuing Coaching Education Units (CCEUs) from the International Coach Federation. If you complete the preparatory reading & brief questionnaire, you will receive 2 extra Resource Development units for a total of 32 CCEUs.\n\nMediator graduates from Canada may apply the hours towards the educational component of the QMed and CMed designations (in accordance with the ADR Institute of Canada). Mediators from outside Canada may also apply to use the hours toward continuing education units.\n\nCINERGY® is an approved SHRM Recertification Provider and this program is valid for 30 PDCs for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.\n\nDates & Times:\n\nTimes are in ET (Eastern Time – Canada). Zoom links will be sent to participants via email.\n\nClass 1: Monday March 21 (9:00 am – noon ET,  7:00am-10:00am MST)\n\nClass 2: Wednesday  March 23  – (9:00 am – noon ET,  7:00am-10:00am MST)\n\nSkills Practices 1 & 2: To be scheduled ** March 24-29\n\nClass 3: Wednesday March 30 (9:00 am – noon ET,  7:00am-10:00am MST)\n\nSkills Practices 3 & 4: To be scheduled **March 31-April 5\n\nClass 4:  Wednesday April 6 (9:00 am – noon ET,  7:00am-10:00am MST)\n\nClass 5: Monday April 11 (9:00 am – noon ET,  7:00am-10:00am MST)\n\nClass 6: Wednesday April 13 (9:00 am – noon ET,  7:00am-10:00am MST)\n\nIntersession work – for which participants receive credits – will be assigned throughout the above schedule – one hour- 75 minutes \n\n**SKILLS PRACTICE SESSIONS IN TWO’S\n\nTwo hours per person (in pairs) between March 24-29 and two hours per person between March 31-April 5\n\nParticipants are paired and allocated a coach-mentor who oversees the practices in each time segment. Timing is coordinated among the coach-mentor and the two registrants according to your mutual availability during the times indicated and choice of forum i.e. Skype, Zoom, Google Hangout, Microsoft. Participants take turns coaching one another in each segment.\n\nWorkshop Cost:\n\n$2,450.00/person (plus 13% HST* = $2,768.50)** ADRIA members receive a $100 discount.
